Hospice is celebrating 25 years of Hospice/Palliative Care in our communities.
On Thursday April 15, 6-8PM at the Oxygen Centre, please join us for a free community education event on " End of Life Care" led by local nurse-counsellor, Rivkah Moore, with guest storyteller Ray Stothers.
Specializing in hospice care, Rivkah has worked in B.C., England and Saudi Arabia and along the way gathered some skills, a bag of tricks, a few good stories and some hard-won wisdom. During her presentation, Rivkah will "decipher the jargon" and open the door to an exploration of the path we all eventually take - offering a glimpse into the very complex yet ordinary act of dying. All are welcome.
Thank you to all our supporters for your enthusiasm, your compassionate care, your helping hands and your donations. We wouldn't be here without you!
