How You Can Help

Nelson & District Hospice Society is partly funded by the Interior Health Authority, Castlegar & District United Way, the Vancouver Foundation Endowment Fund, as well as various community donations, memberships and annual fundraisers.

Interested in supporting the work of Nelson & District Hospice Society in providing compassionate care and support to the terminally ill, the dying and the bereaved? Become a Life Time Member!

We have two levels of support:

Choose a $25-$100 LifeTime Membership:
Entitles you to receive a semi-annual newsletter, notice of special events, voting privileges at Society meetings and an attractive Hospice lapel pin (due to Revenue Canada regulations we cannot issue a tax deductible receipt for memberships). Choose a $25, $50, $75 or $100 membership and become a member for life!

Memberships must be processed through our office and not the CanadaHelps website. Send memberships to Box 194 Nelson, B.C. V1L 5P9

Donations:
All donations go to support the work of Hospice in the community where they are made. You may choose to donate to a specific program such as child & teen grief support, client & volunteer resources or make a general donation. When making your donation, please specify which area you are supporting (Nelson, Kaslo, East Shore).

On-line credit card donations can be made safely and securely through the CanadaHelps donation portal. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued automatically.
